Blue Star Ltd share price softened by 2.07% to Rs 1650.0 after the company's net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 54.88% to Rs 102.51 crore, while revenue from operations slipped 17.05% to Rs 3377.92 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Household Appliances industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 3.08 lakh crore, surging by 16.57%. It has marginally improved by 1.68% over last one week and edged lower by 1.50% in last one month while the market capitalization of Blue Star Ltd has slipped by 2.54% and 2.51% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Blue Star Ltd stood at Rs 134.59 crore in Q2 FY26, nosediving by 17.55% year-on-year, and plunging by 55.15% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 154 crore, tumbling by 16.16% YoY and crashing by 49.00% sequentially. Total expenses fell by 14.09% to Rs 3259.59 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 2141.33 crore, contracting by 13.62% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 249.41 crore, ticking higher by 6.04% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations posted a slight growth of 3.63% to Rs 12401.99 crore, while net profit declined by 10.82% to Rs 527.33 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA surged by 85034% to Rs 868.49 crore, and PBT declined 10.42% to Rs 703.11 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 153.81 crore in FY26, as against Rs 688.07 crore in FY25. Blue Star Ltd fell 5.74% in last one year, significantly underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.64% during the same period.
